The Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV-UPC) was founded in 1979. Since 1991, it has been located at the Sant Cugat del Vallès campus on land transferred by the City Council, in a building designed by the architect Lluís Nadal.

Its location and the on-campus experimentation opportunities are key aspects of the school’s identity and unique educational approach, shaping communication and interaction between students, professors and the institution itself while guaranteeing the quality and accessibility of the services offered and providing a stimulating academic setting for reflection, study and learning.
