Five small-format concerts form part of the programme of the 8th "Musicant el Museu Frederic Marès" cycle, the first of which will take place on 19 February and the last on 18 June. This year's edition, as announced by the organisers, aims to focus on the gender perspective and the contemporary revision of early music. The cycle is organised by the Marès in collaboration with the Esmuc.

The second concert will take place on 19 March, in this case with the pianist Carles Marigó. In Room 14 of the Marès, he will play works by Pablo Bruna, Antonio de Cabezón, Bach, Magrané and also his own. The title of the concert: The voice that counts.
The third event, also in Hall 14, will be on 16 April, with the participation of Ana Nicolás (conductor, percussion and voice), Montserrat Isanta (voice), Jacqueline Bordón (traverso and percussion), Luis Manuel Vicente (viola da arco) and Jeremy Nastasi (viola de mano). They will perform a repertoire of anonymous Renaissance songbooks. The penultimate concert of the cycle, Alícia / Victòria, will be performed in the museum's studio-library by students of the Esmuc's Master's Degree in Lied, coordinated by Assumpta Mateu.
