Paco Ibáñez closes the ’50 years of the Olympia’ tour

Paco Ibáñez inaugurates the Festival Mil·lenni

The festival program will begin on March 17 with the final concert of the ‘50 years of the Olympia’ tour.

The Festival Mil·lenni 22 is just around the corner, a new edition full of concerts with high-level groups. The festival will begin on March 17 with musician Paco Ibáñez at the Palau de la Música Catalana, which will close its ‘50 years of the Olympia’ tour with a repertoire that will take you back to that historic moment. The program of the festival will last until the end of December, and you will find artists such as Fangoria (May 22), Maria Arnal and Marcel Bagés (Apr 23), Maika Makovski (Oct 16), Pastora Soler (Oct 17) or Los enemigos (Dec 30). The festival stages are very diverse: you will find concerts in the Sala Apolo, in La [2] de Apolo, in the Teatre Tívoli, in the Sant Jordi Club, in Razzmatazz and in the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

This March, the Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar will also be the protagonist, as on Friday 26 you can attend the concert of the Orquestra Jove Filharmònica Catalana and the Cor Madrigal, which will take place in two sessions, at 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm. Directed by Grigor Palikarov, they will perform Mozart's Requiem in D minor for string orchestra, as well as the Adagio & Fugida in C minor for soloists, choir and orchestra by the same composer.

Tickets are priced from 16 to 66 euros and you can buy them through this link. Check the festival website for more information.
