Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race

The Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race 2025 is strengthening its inclusive character with a free child-minding service for children aged from 3 to 11. This means no runners will have to miss out on the event for care reasons.

Promoted by Barcelona City Council, the service will be available on the day of the run in an area near the start line and will operate from 7.30 am to 12 noon. Children can be left up to 8.15 am. From that point on, no new admissions will be accepted.

Anybody wishing to use the service should request it in advance by sending a mail to genereiesport@bcn.cat before 15 September.

With this initiative, Barcelona reaffirms its commitment with “run and care”, promoting an accessible sports event that everybody can combine with their daily life.
