- The race is open to anyone over the age of 18. Runners over 16 can participate with the signed authorisation of their parents or legal guardians, which they must show when collecting their race bib.
- Participation is capped at 13,000 runners and registration will close when this number is reached.
- Distance: 10 km. Certified by the FCA (Federació Catalana d’Atletisme) with official timing.
- The route is a one-lap circuit that is duly signposted and marked at every kilometre.
- Official sustainable refreshments are available at km 5 (approximately) and at the finish. Refreshments will be served in cups.
- Bag check service is available.
- Runners will have 1h 45' to complete the race (until 10:30 a.m.), depending on the start time.
- Registration costs €5, which is a donation to support Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació (more information in the Mercè Solidarity section). Registration is only valid once the payment has been made. In addition, BIMBO, as the main sponsor, will provide 20 slices of bread for each registrant, which it will donate to the Barcelona Food Bank.
- The use of a chip is compulsory. Those who do not have a yellow chip (xip groc) must purchase a single-use white chip for €2, VAT included. (see conditions and promotions in the registration section).
- The money paid for the donation and/or the white chip will not be refunded to registrants who do not participate.
- If the event is suspended due to health, safety and/or force majeure, the €5 donation will still be given to Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació.
- Race organisers may modify the route and schedule, due to external causes and/or force majeure.
- Runners will start in waves, based on their previously accredited 10 km times. Each wave is identified with a colour. Runners can only access these waves if their race bib or distinctive bracelet matches the colour of the wave.
- The only vehicles that can follow the race are those which race organisers have expressly authorised.
- The bib and the chip must be collected on the days and times the race organisers have established. Participants must choose a day and time slot to collect them when registering. They must choose their t-shirt size, which may run out as participants register. Changes cannot be made later (see registration section).
- If a participant does not collect the bib and bag on the established days, they forfeit those items and must participate without a bib (see the bib collection section).
- Wearing a bib is compulsory. It must be visible and placed on the front of the body. The bib is personal and non-transferable. Race organisers will disqualify any runner who participates with another person's bib, nullifying the time achieved.
- For safety reasons, we recommend that runners write their personal details on the space provided on the back of the bib. The telephone number provided must be of a third-party contact and not the participant.
- Runners assume all liability for damages they cause to themselves or third parties. The race organisers waive all liability in this regard.
- Participants may use wheelchairs or racing wheelchairs. It is prohibited to use assistive devices that are not appropriate for this athletics event, such as roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, tricycles, handbikes or electric wheelchairs, among others.
- Guides are available for people with visual impairments. Participants who need guides must request them when registering. Runners with guides will be registered on the general list with their corresponding bib and chip, but guides must wear bibs provided by race organisers.
- Prizes: The first five male and female finishers from the open category will receive a trophy upon finishing.
- Prizes will also be awarded to the first three finishers in the wheelchair, visually impaired, intellectually disabled and cerebral palsy categories, provided that a minimum of three runners participate. Wheelchair and visually impaired participants will start in front of their corresponding groups. Athletes must have registered correctly within their category. If they are not duly registered, they will not be entitled to a prize. Wheelchairs, racing wheelchairs and similar must be prepared for racing.
- The categories are mutually exclusive and the same person cannot receive awards in two categories.
