Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race

Path: Pl. Catalunya, C. Pelai, Pl. Universitat, Ronda Sant Antoni past C. Joaquim Costa, where there is a 180º turn to return along the same circuit to Pl. Catalunya.

1. The Family Race will be held on 21 September and forms part of the races that make up the Mercè Bimbo Global Race. The starting line will be at Pl. Catalunya near C. Bergara.
2. The start time will be at approximately 10:45 a.m. It will not be competitive and no prizes will be awarded.
3. It is open to anyone who wants to participate as a family. Participating teams must be made up of at least two people with some family or emotional connection. The registration form will include these aspects.
4. It is capped at 1,000 participants. Registration will close when this number is reached.
5. The distance will be one mile (1,609 metres).
6. Registration costs €3 as a donation (more information in the Mercè Solidarity section). It is not necessary to use a chip, as official times will not be recorded. Registration is only valid once the payment has been made.
7. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied.
8. To register, sign up via the Registration section up to five days before the race, at the latest, if bibs are still available.
9. Upon arrival, all participants will receive a finisher's medal and refreshments, as well as a participation certificate.
10. The bib, along with the chip and t-shirt, must be collected on the days and times established by race organisers. When registering, you must indicate the day and time slot to pick them up. They must choose their t-shirt size, which may run out as participants register. Changes cannot be made (see the Registration section).
11. If a runner does not collect the bib and bag on the established days, they will forfeit them and must participate without a bib (see the Bib Collection section).
12. It is compulsory to wear the race bib in order to run the race. It must be placed on the front of the t-shirt so that it is visible. The bib is personal and non-transferable.
13. For safety reasons, we recommend that runners write their personal details on the space provided on the back of the bib. The telephone number provided must of a third-party contact and not the participant.
14. Participants will assume any damages that may be caused to themselves or to third parties. The race organisers waive all liability in this regard.

17. If a registrant does not participate in the race, the money from the donation will not be returned.
18. Participants expressly allow their name, surname(s), gender and year of birth to be published in the lists of entries, as per established regulations.
19. Image rights, dissemination and distribution: The images (still and/or moving) of the participants in this sporting event may be used by race organisers for the sole purpose of informing, promoting and consulting the edition of the race in which they were taken.
20. Registration implies acceptance of these regulations and the cross-country race regulations of the Catalan Athletics Federation. Race organisers will decide on any unforeseen incidents.
