Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race

The registration period is now open for the Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race 2025. The big popular athletics event for La Mercè is being held on Sunday 21 September, with some important changes and the goal of reaching 14,500 participants.

Once again, the annual event has three categories adapted to all realities:

• 10 km (popular run)

• Inclusive 2 km , for people with reduced mobility or intellectual disability

• Family run of 1,609 metres (one mile), to enjoy sport with children

This year’s event has a new route around the centre of Barcelona, starting from C/ Aragó with Pau Claris and finishing in Pl. Catalunya, taking in iconic spaces such as Passeig de Sant Joan, Arc de Triomf, the coast and Av. Paral·lel.

The free child-minding service will be available again for children aged from 3 to 11 and the closing party returns, with activities and entertainment for all the family.
