New subsidies for those who registered as self-employed during the pandemic

Subsidies of up to 3,000 euros for each person who became self-employed after 14 March 2020, the date when the state of emergency was declared for Covid-19. This is the first time that subsidies of up to 500 euros will be given for costs resulting from energy consumption, given the rise in the price of electricity, gas and fuel.

The subsidies are to cover costs from the first year of activity and can be requested via the municipal Virtual Procedures Office between 8 August and 30 September this year.

The Activa Autòno+  programme seeks to reach 450 people, business owners and members of work cooperatives who were unemployed before the pandemic and now have their own business. The new subsidies complement other public subsidies.
