Demographics expert

Researcher in the Geography Department at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and at the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED-CERCA). 

He holds a PhD in Demography (UAB) and a Degree in Geography (Barcelona University). His research focuses mainly on the socio-spatial transformation of urban areas and the impact of processes such as gentrification or touristification on the population’s socio-demographic make-up. It also explores the role of residential mobility in the socio-spatial reconfiguration of cities, the interregional mobility of human capital and cities’ appeal for highly skilled migrants and temporary populations.
