Journalist

(Artà, Mallorca, 1962). She holds a degree in Geography and History, specialising in Art History from the University of Barcelona, and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. 

She has worked in the field of cultural journalism since 1988 in the newspapers El Día de Baleares, Última Hora and El País (Barcelona branch), where she specialised in art and architecture and was head of the Catalan-language supplement Quadern and head of the Culture section between 2006 and 2011. In May 2011, she joined the newspaper Ara as deputy editor, where she has also run the Sunday supplement and, since 2021, she has been the coordinator of the newspaper’s online section. In 2013, she launched the Ara Balears newspaper, and was its first editor-in-chief. She lives and works in Barcelona.
