Lourdes Delgado (Barcelona, 1965) teaches photography and image classes at Elisava School of Design and at the IEFC (Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya [Catalan School of Photography]. She currently focuses her research on the history of photography from a gender perspective.
In 2019, she curated Las lunas de los astrónomos: Representaciones desde 1610 a 1910 [Astronomers’ Moons: Representations from 1610 to 1910] and Una cámara propia. Mujeres y prácticas fotográficas [A Camera of One’s Own. Women and Photographic Practices]. As a photographer, she has contributed to Newsweek, GQ, La Vanguardia and El País and has published Cants a la Natura [Homages to Nature] (Galeria H2O, 2010).
