As a complement to the presentation of the book Ingenio Modernista. Universo Gaudí, Ignacio Paricio and Marc Cabello will explore the contrasting personalities of Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner through the presentation of various works.

The talk will first address the striking differences in the sources of inspiration for their creations, their differing conceptions of the use and service of architecture, and the fundamental concerns that, throughout their professional careers, became true challenges—ones that remain difficult to match or surpass even today.

At the end of the conference, a small cocktail reception will be offered to continue the discussion informally.
