Young Architects' Association of Catalonia
The Young Architects' Association of Catalonia (AJAC) was founded in 1993 with the mission of promoting and enhancing the visibility of the vibrant community of young architects in Catalonia. Through the AJAC Awards and the Young Architecture Biennial, places the spotlight on emerging talent and promotes critical and creative debate, allowing for culture and architectural dissemination to become tools for social transformation.
Dating back over thirty years, it is a platform for young architects to make themselves heard. A non-profit association that since its inception has aimed to serve as the open reference framework to encourage young people in the architectural, professional and cultural fields. The aim of the association is to set the benchmark in the promotion of events and the dissemination of the work of young architects, who will be responsible for building and designing the buildings and urban planning of the future.
