Carolina Sarmiento

Carolina Sarmiento (Asturias, 1981) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid and works in the news at Televisión del Principado de Asturias (TPA), an activity she combines with writing. In the field of literature, she has cultivated both the novel —Tarada (Pez de Plata, 2021)— and poetry —Ikiru (vivir) (Gravitaciones, 2018)— along with  short stories in the anthology Animales urticantes (Pez de Plata, 2020). Her texts have also appeared in publications with works by many authors. Every night she invents a story for a single listener. In 2023, she published Vrësno (Pez de Plata), a dark thriller with echoes of legends.
