Jordi Casals i Merchán

Jordi Casals i Merchán (Barcelona, 1976) is a lecturer in language and literature and a writer and musician. A graduate in Hispanic Philology from the UB, he is also the author of Muerte por funky o el Eutanasio, Telecaster Circus and Ratafia Supernova, all three by Laertes, where he directs the 'L’Arcà' fantasy-genre collection. His Fes picar els anells  (Llibres del Delicte), a YA novel that combines science fiction and the noir genre, was published in 2022. He is also a member of the El Biblionauta association and recently launched a genre imprint focusing on Catalan authors: Spècula.
