Neus Real

Neus Real (Barcelona, 1968) is a specialist in contemporary Catalan literature and an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, although she is currently on temporary leave. Real is also the author of numerous and diverse studies on women's fiction in the 1920s and 1930s, a field in which she is particularly interested. Among her literary production, we should highlight an article on fantastic literature entitled “D'un temps, d'un país: Elvira Augusta Lewi" —published in 2006— and the chapter "Elvira Augusta Lewi, una narradora alemanya catalana d’adopció [Elvira Augusta Lewi, a Catalan German narrator]", included in the publication Fronteres entre l’universal i el particular en la literatura catalana [Borders between the universal and the particular in Catalan literature] (Kabatek, 2007).
