Roger Luckhurst

Roger Luckhurst is a professor and writer, and the author of numerous books on the history of science fiction and in the Gothic genres. His latest work, Gothic: An Illustrated history was published by the Blume publishing house in 2021. Furthermore, Luckhurst's curiosity led him to write a cultural history of telepathy, as well as a study of corridors, vestibules, passageways and hallways. The author has also edited key works in the Gothic tradition, including texts by Bram Stoker, Rider Haggard, Arthur Conan Doyle and H. G. Wells. He is currently a professor at Birkbeck College, University of London.
