12th Inclusive Day

Continuing with Barcelona City Council’s commitment to make inclusion one of the main points of the sports events in the city's festival, yet another year it is organising Inclusive Day, a broad display of adapted sports open to everyone to demonstrate and raise awareness that physical activity can also be a celebration of unity and equality.

This new edition, which is part of the Esport Inclou project backed by the Barcelona Institute of Sports, will take place on Passeig de Gràcia and is targeted at children, young people and families. The activities will have an inclusive focus so that everyone can participate and will include options such as wheelchair basketball, boccia, blind football, slalom, wheelchair hockey, wheelchair rugby, sitting volleyball, activities facilitated by Aprenem for people with autism and other leisure activities. The aim is for all city residents to be able to enjoy sport.
