Formed in 2012, they have been a cornerstone of the Spanish-language punk scene from the outset, with a discography that includes Centro dramático nacional (2014), Sentido del espectáculo (2017), Gran pantalla (2020), Bremen no existe (2022) and ¡Ahora! (2024). Biznaga are at the forefront of a generation that has fought to bring punk to a wider audience. They’ve done so through melody, message and attitude – elements that have helped transform punk into a form of protest song for our time. “El entusiasmo”, the unflinching portrait of youth in “Lorazepam y plataformas” and “La gran renuncia” are just some of the tracks from this scathing new album – true to form – a kind of new chronicle of collapse that exposes the failures of the system we live in, while also offering glimpses of hope, flashes of humour and moments of redemptive feeling. Named Best Artist of the Year at the 2025 MIN Independent Music Awards.
