The festival... in motion. The Cavalcada de La Mercè (La Mercè Procession) is one of the highlights of the Festival, a showcase for the popular culture groups that take part, with the giants as the main protagonists.

Here you’ll find all kinds of giant groups from across the city and the figures they take care of, so it is a solemn but 100 percent festive occasion, even more so when the guest giants include the giant Bee, created by artisans and popular culture groups from Barcelona and Manchester, which is a hybrid of different festive traditions.

Is it a giant or a super-puppet? Come along and see it alone, with friends, family or, if you have them, with the kids, as this is one of the most family-friendly events of La Mercè.
