Looking for a soundtrack of nature? Ask DJ Panko, the creator of this musical project. It’s more than a tribute to agriculture and the environment – it also features a rather unusual ensemble of soloists: a whole host of animals. Curious what that sounds like? Come hear it for yourself and ask this artist from the Trinitat neighbourhood, who has taken part in this year’s community project. It all began when he started recording animal sounds and birdsong while growing tomatoes in Montseny. Could those sounds become the foundation for music? DJ Panko has edited ten tracks recorded in this way to create a full album. He now presents it in an audiovisual performance featuring electronic beats created from animal sounds, accompanied by live musicians.
