Modern music – Barcelona
This year, legendary Jamaican singer Bob Marley would have turned 80, a good excuse (as if one were needed) to celebrate a reggae music icon. Long fascinated by Black music, the musicians of the Liceu BLAM Collective make the songs of Bob Marley & The Wailers their own in a concert featuring talented students from the Conservatori Superior de Música Liceu under the direction of teachers Pedro Campos and Alex Dee. Don’t miss this explosion of styles, full of influences from Black American Music and Afro-American music in general. The band initially had the artistic and musical support of Michael League, founder of the well-known jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy.
