Permanent exhibition - ‘Feeling the Heritage’: Located on the first floor, this exhibition, divided into four areas, shows objects that evoke the ways of living of people in some period and place in the world. It tells about their hidden stories or how people live: their customs, purposes, meanings and beliefs.

Temporary exhibition and ‘Barcelona, Giant City. 600 years of Festivities and Tradition’ This show invites visitors to delve into a ‘giant’ route to discover anecdotes, details and curious facts, some of them little or hardly known. It also sparks new debates that will contribute to redefining the meaning and heritage value of these elements in the festive imagery of the twenty-first century.

Reserve collection open for visits. Different ways of life produce objects. Just as we humans build objects, we also create identities. The reserve collection consists in all kinds of pieces from a wide range of origins and places, and because they are part of the inventoried collection, they are considered ethnologic heritage.
