Performance for two giants "El balcó"

El balcó is presented as a test ofthe relationship between architecture and power through a - grotesque - fictionalisation of the use of the balcony as a device for political discourse. Two «giants» hold a discussion through gestures, sounds and dance. One of them is on the balcony of the main façade of the MACBA, while the other is down at street level, in the Plaça dels Àngels. The design of the characters is based on the drawings produced during the workshop run by Jordi Colomer with children from the Raval district Children's Centre, who live near the museum where the initiative is taking place.
