The Tyets

Trap-reggaeton. Barcelona

ELS40 stage

Musicians Oriol de Ramon and Xavier Coca of Mataró made it clear where they were heading in a 2018 debut album where the name said it all: Trappeton, a combination of reggaeton, Latin trap and pop that became famous with hits such as “RRHH (Tinc una casa)”, in 2019, and by blending trap, reggaeton and sardanas in “Coti x coti” (2023). And it’s no surprise, as The Tyets’ urban music isn’t about drugs or drinking, but rather topics linked to everyday life and Catalan traditions, all with a dose of humour. Èpic Solete (2023) was a milestone in their career, and in 2025 they have released Cafè per als més cafeteros’. Have you listened to “Un petonet” or “Cul i merda” yet?
