Journalist

Associate professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and journalist, expert in science and the environment.

He holds a Degree in Information Sciences and a Master’s Degree in the Psychology of Cognition and Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is currently head of communications at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans. He has worked at La Vanguardia as a science and environmental columnist and, between 2001 and 2019, he designed, directed and presented the television programmes Einstein a la platja [Einstein at the Beach], Respira [Breathe], Terrícoles [Earthlings] and Deuwatts on Betevé. He has also directed the magazine Medi Ambient. Tecnologia i Cultura [Environment. Technology and Culture] (1992-2014). He is co-author of the book Medi Ambient i comunicació. De l’evolució cultural a l’evolució conscient [Environment and Communication. From Cultural Evolution to Conscious Evolution] (Beta Editorial, 1994) and member of the Catalan Water Agency’s panel of experts on reclaimed water.
