Screening of the documentary film Tall: The American Skyscraper and Louis Sullivan
Now in its ninth season, the Per Amor a les Arts (For the Love of the Arts) programme has established itself as a mirror in which activities related to a wide range of artistic disciplines, proposed by the participating entities and institutions, are reflected in films that illustrate, expand upon or distort them to offer fresh perspectives. Every Tuesday, from October to June, the Filmoteca de Catalunya hosts cinema sessions connected to painting, theatre, dance, architecture, music, design, literature and opera, with each screening introduced by creators and experts. The aim is to foster dialogue between the arts and cinema, through the role of the latter as a universal language. Architecture will join this dialogue with the screening of Manfred Kirchheimer’s Tall: The American Skyscraper and Louis Sullivan. The session will be presented by Anna & Eugeni Bach.
