Concert de "Son Rompe Pera"

Modern cumbia, punk, traditional Mexican and Colombian rhythms, psychedelic guitars, dub and hip-hop: all these rhythms converge in the music of Son Rompe Pera, a band of brothers from Naucalpan that has defined the cumbia punk genre. In 2023, they released their second album, Chimborazo, the latest to date. The album, a tribute to Mexico, Colombia, family and life, celebrates tradition while also reinventing it, with tracks such as 'Chucha,' inspired by a dream of alien abduction, and 'Cumbia is the new punk,' a genuine musical manifesto that makes the band's intentions clear.
