"Fillas de Cassandra" Concert

Fillas de Cassandra, the Galician duo formed by Maria Soa (vocals, percussion and piano) and Sara Faro (vocals and percussion), blend tradition, electronica, Greek mythology and feminist perspectives in their work. The name alludes to one of the best-known Greek myths, the story of Cassandra (whose warnings about the Trojan horse went unheeded), a symbol of the constant disbelief that women are all too familiar with. They draw on musical and oral traditions, reinventing them with contemporary sounds to connect with younger listeners. This emerging duo is dazzling audiences with works such as Acrópole (2023), an album featuring many songs that reference Greek heroines mirrored in contemporary women. In 2025, they released the EP Hibernarse, with many songs, including the single “A todas partes”.
