The quintet from Tarragona is one of the surprises of Sona9. With great musical talent and an energetic live show full of British sounds and power-pop guitar melodies, Sodi vindicates the new wave of the eighties and the indie of the nineties. For the band's bassist, Naïm Lufti, 20, Sona9 has been a challenge: "We have had the opportunity to show who we are and what we can do.  The fact of setting a deadline for the tests of the contest has been vital, because we are a bit lazy in many aspects of our day to day". For such a young group, reaching the final of Sona9 is the first culmination of their goals. The singer and guitarist, Evan Dedes, also 20 years old, says: "Performing in the historic El Molino venue was already a prize, but the final at La Mercè will be a challenge. If we have come this far, what we are doing must not be so bad."
