Tour of the Centre

Guided tour of “L’habitatge a Barcino. Les domus romanes dels carrers de Sant Honorat i Avinyó” (Housing in Barcino. The Roman domus of Carrer Sant Honorat and Carrer Avinyó)

The domus of Carrer Avinyó, which dates back to the 1st century AD, features a rich ensemble of recovered ceiling and wall paintings. The domus of Sant Honorat, built in the 4th Century, still retains the main garden and rooms paved with geometric polychrome mosaics.
