Urban Planning. The Sarriā-Sant Gervasi district is launching some 46 projects to improve the quality of its public spaces and several of its facilities. An investment of 3,093,000 euros has been allocated to these projects, which will continue up to the start of 2014.
Sport. The Barcelona Powerade Cup is a Spanish tournament that has brought together a total of 42 teams. Its final round takes place from 20 to 22 December.
Young People. This is set out under the new collaboration agreement that has been signed, under which the centre can stay with remain with the Barcelona Youth Information Points Network and carry out its guidance initiatives.
Health. Anyone who wants to take part in this big solidarity event, with a target of 5,000 donations, can do so in person or online between 17 and 24 January.
Economy. Home Care Service charges will drop by between 13.7 and 16.3 per cent, while Tibidabo admission prices will be frozen. Bicing charges and Zoo prices will go up by 1.5 per cent.
Solidarity. The Barcelona Magic Line will cross the seven city hills to raise funds for causes such as the homeless, children in hospital and biomedical research.
Music. The Barcelona Municipal Music Conservatory is opening up several historical spaces, from 16 to 21 December, offering up to nineteen free concerts in a range music specialities.
Public works. The District is rearranging and streamlining the sewer system with new installations at Carrer de Ferran Puig, between Portolā and Manacor.
City The Emeritus Archbishop of Barcelona died this morning at the age of 87. His body will lie in state from 11 am this Wednesday until Thursday morning in the Cathedral Choir.
Exhibition. Espai 13 at the Fundaciķ Joan Mirķ is holding an exhibition in which the artist reflects on the memorable events that have taken place on Montjuīc.
Children. Geronimo Stilton presents the music group Fantāstics at the Teatre Condal where, together, they'll be singing Manu Guix's new versions of songs from the Musical, "Fantasy Kingdom".
Music. Van Morrison is performing at the Liceu this Saturday at 8 pm. Known as the "Belfast Lion", he's always described himself as a soul singer.

Theatre. Tennessee Williams wrote the Rose Tattoo in four weeks at the Hotel Colķn in Barcelona. Seventy years later, the piece will finally be performed for the first time in Catalonia and it will be done in grand style: in the Sala Gran del Teatre Nacional and under the direction of Carlota Subirķs.
Musical. Televisiķ de Catalunya and Dagoll Dagom are staging "Super3: El Musical", starring the Super 3 family characters, at the Victōria theatre from 14 December .
