Monitoring and evaluation
The following actions have been taken to assess the progress being made in the measures implemented for tackling the climate emergency in the city:
- Monitoring the achievement of objectives
- Monitoring context, effort and impact indicators
- Monitoring the degree of implementation of the measures
The indicators are measured and reported annually through official platforms (Carbon Disclosure Project). Information is also reported to comply with the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy.
To track progress on these objectives, periodic monitoring reports are available for consultation. These reports are presented to the Citizens Council for Sustainability, which is the formal representative body of the More Sustainable Barcelona Network.
