Sustainability culture

The term sustainability culture means all the knowledge, values and practices to be acquired and adopted by the public (both individually and collectively) responsibly, rationally and creatively to tackle social and environmental issues and speed up climate action. 

The “Let’s Change for the Climate 2030” Plan aims to create this culture using reliable information (obtained through an expert advisory committee and improving knowledge), leading by example (through the More Sustainable City Council programme), by getting the city’s stakeholders involved and providing all necessary resources.

Climate Emergency Marathon

Marató per emergència climàtica

Month-long campaign for awareness and good practice in the use and consumption of energy and water at various municipal buildings and facilities, with the financial savings achieved in this period used to help projects tackling the climate emergency.

Climate subsidies

Xerrada projecte pel clima

This call for subsidy applications is aimed at encouraging projects that promote the fight against the climate crisis and which provide solutions for achieving the goals established under the Climate Plan and the Climate Emergency Declaration.

More Sustainable Schools

More Sustainable Schools is a specific programme that provides support and assistance to schools in the More Sustainable Barcelona Network wishing to transform their educational practice and spaces to tackle the challenges of sustainability and the climate emergency.
