Concert "Rival Sons"

Before the Fire. Quan van irrompre a l'escena rock ja fa quinze anys, el títol del debut de Rival Sons sonava gairebé a advertència. La banda californiana ens donava l'oportunitat d'escapar-se abans que, efectivament, el seu rock inflamat de blues esdevingués tot flames al seu pas. I sovint passo: Jay Buchaman i els seus no van trigar a telonejar Black Sabbath, AC/DC o Guns N’ Roses com a prova que fins i tot aquests gèneres que s'aborden necessàriament des de la nostàlgia també necessiten el seu particular relleu generacional. Un cop deixada enrere aquesta combustió pròpia d'una banda debutant, Rival Sons segueixen aquí, en plena forma, consolidats com la baula que connecta aquells grups que van crear un cànon rock'n’roll i les noves generacions.
