Projecció "EL autoestopista"

Roy Collins i Gilbert Bowen, tots dos de mitjana edat, deixen enrere la gran ciutat per dirigir-se per carretera cap a Mèxic. A diversos quilòmetres de la frontera que separa Mèxic dels Estats Units, el conductor Roy accepta la proposició del seu company Gilbert de portar, al seient de darrere de l’automòbil, un autoestopista anomenat Emmett Myers. Tot passa a un estat de tensió creixent quan Roy i Gilbert, després de ser protagonistes d’un joc macabre que hauria pogut suposar la mort del primer, s’adonen que es troben davant d’un autèntic sàdic, un psicòpata que està sembrant el pànic entre els conductors d’aquest tram de carretera fronterer.
