Concert "Amazônia", de Heitor Villa-Lobos i Philip Glass

Heitor Villa-Lobos i Philip Glass amb la projecció de l'obra de Sebastião Salgado

L’Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu presentarà el 26 de novembre el concert extraordinari  Amazônia de Sebastião Salgado com a part d’un projecte més ampli del fotògraf brasiler que, en els últims set anys, ha treballat recorrent l’Amazones i visitant els seus habitants. 

En el transcurs del concert, la música anirà acompanyada de la projecció de més de 200 imatges del gran fotògraf que sublimen la bellesa de la naturalesa alhora que adverteixen de la importància de conservar aquest entorn natural únic. A punt de celebrar els seus vuitanta anys i més actiu que mai, l’artista brasiler Sebastião Salgado és un dels fotògrafs contemporanis més premiats i reconeguts internacionalment.
