Concert "Cantarenas", amb Carola Ortiz

Cantareras engloba un recull de cançons i romanços extrets de la tradició oral femenina de la península Ibèrica, revisitades amb una mirada contemporània amb sonoritats del folk, la música medieval, el jazz i l’electrònica.  Cantareras eren les dones que omplien les cànteres d’aigua a les fonts i al riu, un ofici tradicionalment relacionat amb la dona i actualment quasi obsolet o extint (a Europa). Cànter és la fusió de dues paraules: cantar i úter.

Carola Ortiz: veu, clarinet, harmònium, bendir,  pandero cuadrado de Peñaparda, pandero quadrat català, pandereta, castanyoles i cànter. Alex Guitart: saz, llaüt turc, caixa, daf i tombak.
