Teatre 'Celebració'

A càrrec de l’AT El Partiquí

Celebració, escrita el 1999, és l’última obra de Harold Pinter ( 1930-2008) i l’única que l’autor va escriure en clau de comèdia. Pinter va rebre el Nobel de Literatura l’any 2005 ” per ser qui en les seves obres descobreix el precipici sota la irrellevància quotidiana i les forces que entren en confrontació a les habitacions tancades.”

L’obra , escrita en clau de teatre de l’absurd, descriu una conversa entre parelles de l’alta burgesia mentre sopen en un restaurant de luxe. Durant la conversa afloren ferides emocionals profundes, s’estableixen una lluita dialèctica del poder amb una agressivitat verbal cada vegada més desinhibida i es fan paleses la buidor, el masclisme i la por de viure.
