Article 2. Nature of the Barcelona Culture Council

1. The Barcelona Culture Council is a permanent, city-level advisory and sectoral participatory body that operates in areas related to culture and all of its constituent sectors. It is responsible for providing assessment and advisory input on all public policies implemented by the city government in the field of culture.

2. The reports, opinions, objections, actions, and proposals issued by the Barcelona Culture Council are recommendations and are in no way binding upon the municipal government bodies.

3. Municipal government bodies must provide a reasoned response to the Barcelona Culture Council regarding any proposals submitted by the Council that are rejected or amended by those bodies.
