Assertive communication: how to express your ideas clearly and respectfully

How good are you at making yourself heard in a group? Do your ideas get the respect they deserve? In this workshop, you’ll explore your cultural and personal differences and, through practical exercises, learn how to better express yourself and be seen. 

Highly interactive, fun and dynamic – you will work in small groups and practice improvisation skills. You will also learn useful strategies for responding to conflict, with a particular focus on what we express through our body language and how we are perceived by others.

- How to express your emotions clearly. Micro facial expressions and confident voice exercises

- Body language feedback from the trainer after short improvised speaking activities

Workshop run by Jessica Breitenfeld

Jessica is Canadian and has lived in Barcelona for eight years. She is Vice President of the Barcelona Women’s Network and founder of the Premier Women’s Speaking Club (5x Catalan Public Speaking Champion). She was named Top Female Speaker in Europe 2022 by Toastmasters.
