If you’ve moved to Barcelona, you're sure to have realised that it’s a cosmopolitan, multilingual city. Catalan and Spanish are the official languages.

By way of helping you become more familiar with the Catalan language, we’re starting a cycle of three sessions organised in collaboration with the Centre de Normalització Lingüística de Barcelona. We know for sure that it’s a good idea to become familiar with and learn Catalan. It will open up many doors for you in your personal and professional spheres, making your life in Barcelona much richer. 

In the sessions you’ll discover some curious facts and figures, be presented with tools and resources and take part in some entertaining activities that encourage everybody to take part. There’s also some time to have a drink and make some new contacts, and perhaps some new friendships.

Dare to experience Barcelona in Catalan

We round off the first “Catalan Afterwork” cycle with a session where we’ll have some fun with the Catalan language and discover its social potential. Put your knowledge of Barcelona to the test and practise what you’ve learnt through some fun activities with the rest of the participants. Discover the resources available to you to continue learning and improving your level of Catalan.

We’ll finish off with drinks and some networking.
