Find out all about the Barcelona Supercomputing Center!
Since its foundation in 2005 when it was a small team of 60 people, the BSC has grown into a community of over 1,400 professionals from 60 different countries and has become a world leader in the fields of supercomputing, artificial intelligence and European technological sovereignty.
Would you like to learn first-hand about the projects that are revolutionising the world of science and technology? Do you want to know how the BSC works together with cities and communities from all over the world? Or see the impressive MareNostrum 5 supercomputer with your own eyes?
One of the BSC's most groundbreaking initiatives is the development of urban digital twins to simulate scenarios and streamline decision-making in relation to urban interventions. It also drives the future of AI in Europe through projects such as the AI Institute and the AI Factory.
The AI Factory, Spain's first artificial intelligence factory and one of the first in Europe, provides access to advanced computing resources and R&D services not only to academics but also to businesses, startups and SMEs seeking to fast-track the development of AI-based solutions.
Come and see how the BSC is building the future. We're looking forward to seeing you!
