New in Barcelona? First steps in the city

Have you recently arrived in Barcelona? Would you like to establish yourself in the city and get your projects off the ground? Are you keen to meet people and make new friends?

To facilitate your arrival and help you to get the most from your experience in Barcelona, we have prepared this session for newcomers. We will tell you all about practical everyday issues so you can take home information and advice for enjoying Barcelona and its opportunities to the full.

The session will have Paul Conde as its key speaker, the InterNations Ambassador, an association that connects and creates ex-pat communities in several cities worldwide. Paul will be talking about the InterNations experience in Barcelona and what resources there are on offer in the city for sharing interests and pastimes, creating ties and new friendships and, ultimately, making Barcelona your home.

PROGRAMME

6:30 pm - Welcome and presentation of the municipal resources and activities for newcomer Barcelona residents. Given by Judith Romera, Barcelona City Council.

6:45 pm -  Welcome to Barcelona! Given by Paul Conde, InterNations.

7:30 pm - Networking time

Free on-site event, upon registration.
