A journey through the memory of youth, a testament to the spirit of rebellion that defines this stage of life and a tribute to the legacy of subcultures. This is Monument, a piece for five performers whose bodies intertwine as agents of collective rebellion expressed through fleeting fervour and a multiplicity of physical languages. The piece is an adaptation of the original work created in 2024 during a residency at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació, and explores congregation and communion between individuals as a form of political dissidence and resistance. 

Àngel Duran’s work explores the human condition through the body, drawing on new dramaturgies and moving between the poetry of movement and emotional expression to connect with the audience and invite them into his unique imaginative world.
