Revived a few years ago, the Vigil Night was first documented more than a century and a half ago, in 1872. It features two traditional pairs of giants: the Giants of Pi and the Giants of Santa Maria del Mar.

Just like us sometimes, they can’t sleep – and with the help of the gegants groups who bring them to life, they’ve decided to head out for a late-night stroll. They’re joined by musicians playing traditional instruments, performing a piece specially composed for the occasion by Adrià Abellán.
