Sketching the architectural diversity of Montjuïc

This activity invites Barcelona’s Urban Sketchers community – and anyone curious to discover the community – to meet up and sketch two nearby yet strikingly different sites: the exterior of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion and that of the CaixaForum, housed in the former Casaramona factory.

Participants can choose to sketch freely (perfect for those already familiar with these meet-ups) or attend an introductory workshop where they’ll learn about the sketcher community and the most typical materials, receiving a few key tips to kick-start their sketching journey. Materials will also be provided for those who don’t have their own.

The meet-up will last three hours, wrapping up with the traditional sharing of sketches and a group photo to commemorate the event.
