Discover the work of renowned architect Smiljan Radić, president of the jury for the FAD International Awards 2025

Organised by ARQUIN-FAD, this conference will feature Smiljan Radić, the Chilean architect and president of the 2025 FAD International Awards jury. These prestigious awards recognise architectural works created worldwide by architects from Spain and Portugal. In this talk, Radić will discuss his projects, his creative process, and his unique approach to architecture.

Radić’s work explores the technical, sensory, and social aspects of various material realities, reconstructing narratives that seem etched in the collective memory.

In addition to his architectural practice, Smiljan Radić is the president of the Fragile Architecture Foundation, an institution dedicated to the study and promotion of experimental architecture and unconventional realities that challenge traditional boundaries of the discipline. Based in Santiago de Chile, he regularly collaborates with Chilean sculptor Marcela Correa.
