Guided tour of industrialised and sustainable building structures to generate shading for public space

Visit the prototype installed on Rambla Badal, part of the A l'ombra del Trencadís project, presented by Arquitectura de Contacte in collaboration with Tall Fusta. The basic structure of the proposal consists of two prefabricated, technified panels—one for the ground and one for the shade—supported by four technified pillars that serve as vertical supports. These three key elements form the A l'ombra del Trencadís system, a clear, simple, yet comprehensive and reproducible design. With its human scale, the system offers climate shelter, resting spaces, and opportunities for interaction, and can be adapted to any urban environment within the city.
