Fishing and sustainable fish consumption in Barcelona, the focus of the new December Agròpolis session!
A new session of Agròpolis is coming, a space for organisations, groups and stakeholders who promote sustainable food in the city to discuss sustainable food.
The goal of this gathering is to provide an overview of the current situation of fishing and fish consumption and to reflect on the main challenges and opportunities in working towards more sustainable models within the city’s food system.
The session will include presentations on the Coastal Plan and incorporating the sea into Barcelona, as well as the state of fishing in Catalonia and a panel discussion on the sale and valorisation of fishing products in sustainable food with experts from the sector, the world of research and civil society.
The session will also present the call for applications for grants for the application of local participatory development as part of the FEMPA 2024–2028 programme, and an intercooperation activity among entities will be held.
